Job Summary:

As our Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in HobKnob's success, responsible for maintaining our 98% average occupancy rate. Your primary responsibilities will include:

 

1- Marketing our vacant units on platforms such as Facebook, Craigslist, Furnished Finder, Google Ads and coming up with creative ways to reach our potential tenants. An example would be going through our present and previous tenant's applications, investigate from where/why they moved here, and make a valuable connection with those sources aka Hospitals for travel nurses, Staffing agencies, certain employers etc.

2- Conducting property tours and answering any questions that the potential tenant may have in order to get them to apply on our online application form thats located on this website.

3- Communicate with the HobKnob team on an as needed basis.

Property Showcasing:

Showcase vacant rental units to prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits.
Conduct property tours, answering questions and addressing concerns to assist tenants in making informed decisions.

Tenant Relations:

Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants, providing information on available units and guiding them through the tour and application process.

​

Lease Processing:

Once applied, our Property Manager will take over from there.

​

Market Analysis:

Stay informed about local real estate market trends and competitor offerings.
Recommend competitive rental rates based on market analysis to attract and retain tenants.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in real estate, property management, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of leasing processes, fair housing regulations, and property management practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

​
